Baby Applesauce Bites



This is literally the easiest recipe ever; I wish I found it sooner! It can be used for babies just starting baby-led weaning, or for toddlers!



Ingredients

1/2 cup applesauce

1 cup quick oats (or baby oatmeal cereal for baby-led weaning)



Instructions

  1. Preheat oven at 325 F

  2. Mix the two ingredients well in a bowl.

  3. With your hands, form into small chunks, or balls. (I did them about the size of large blueberries)

  4. Bake for 8-10 minutes. (I baked for 10 minutes, turned the oven off, and left the pan in the oven for about 5 more minutes.

  5. Wait for them to cool.

  6. Let baby enjoy!!


Store in airtight container on the counter or in the fridge for about a week. These can be frozen for up to two months and put in the fridge to thaw before serving!
